Now in my thirties, I started riding a street bike some 15 years ago but quickly changed to a cruiser. I currently ride a 2013 Harley Street Glide. My wife Jessica, also rides and is a member of GEMC. I enjoy the community aspect of riding, finding new places, learning new things, and sharing new adventures.
Riding since my teens, (40-years+), I joined GEMC in 2005 and have served on the Board for 10 years. I am a Road Captain, but my favorite position is being the “Kitchen B§¥£H” (club cook), which I intend to hold for life. I love our Saturday rides, our eating socials, and the club camping trips.
I have been a Golden Eagle since 2017. My husband, Jared, introduced me to the club back in 2016. When John became president in 2020, he recruited me to take over secretary duties and to help digitize the club. I previously rode a Yamaha Bolt but sold it since giving birth to our son, Fox. Love being here!
I started riding at age 14, took a break for work and family, and resumed over 30-years ago in my early 40s. I’ve ridden a variety of bikes, including Suzukis, Nortons, Hondas, and HDs. A huge stress-reliever for wife Cathy and myself, we know life is always better out riding.
A motorcyclist for over 60 years, I’ve ridden street and dirt bikes and now touring with my wife of 53 years (and counting.) My first new bike was a 1966 Honda 305 Scrambler; my latest is a 2019 HD 114 Road Glide. Plus the additional: ‘64 Kawasaki JT-1, ‘75 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing, '77 Yamaha XS 650, and '81 Special.
A second-generation member, I’ve been associated with GEMC since the '60s. I have been a board member for more than 20 years. I have served as Vice President over 10 times and President once. I currently ride a 2019 (R1200RT BMW.) My wife and both sets of parents are also life-members.
In my early fifties, I've been riding since relocating to Florida over 30 years ago. I have been a Golden Eagle since 2014, serving on the Board of Directors since 2015. I ride a 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special, and look forward to the quiet of being on the open road as a form of “two-wheel therapy."
A GEMC member since 2015, I ride often and usually have several bikes including larger road bikes and small adventure bikes. Dirt or Street, it doesn’t matter to me so long as I’m riding and enjoying being outside. I’m a member of the Golden Eagles for the friendships, rides, and the food.
