Riding since my teens, (40-years+), I joined GEMC in 2005 and have served on the Board for 10 years. I am a Road Captain, but my favorite position is being the “Kitchen B§¥£H” (club cook), which I intend to hold for life. I love our Saturday rides, our eating socials, and the club camping trips.
I am a die-hard, experienced rider and just one of a limited number of sidecar riders. An active member of the club for several years, I've participated in several long-distance, charity and club rides; including serving as a Road Captain. Ask me about traffic court - always keep $1 in your pocket!
I started riding at age 14, took a break for work and family, and resumed over 30-years ago in my early 40s. I’ve ridden a variety of bikes, including Suzukis, Nortons, Hondas, and HDs. A huge stress-reliever for wife Cathy and myself, we know life is always better out riding.
In my early fifties, I've been riding since relocating to Florida over 30 years ago. I have been a Golden Eagle since 2014, serving on the Board of Directors since 2015. I ride a 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special, and look forward to the quiet of being on the open road as a form of “two-wheel therapy."
A GEMC member since 2015, I ride often and usually have several bikes including larger road bikes and small adventure bikes. Dirt or Street, it doesn’t matter to me so long as I’m riding and enjoying being outside. I’m a member of the Golden Eagles for the friendships, rides, and the food.
I started riding dirt bikes at 14 and have been riding on and off ever since. I love the longer rides where you can get lost in the ride and the stress just disappears.
I enjoy spending time with and sharing adventures with this great group of people and talented riders ."Keep the shiny side up."
I’ve been an avid rider for almost 45 years, riding bikes for work and pleasure. My wife, Janice and I, are fairly new members - our first meeting was week before lockdown in 2020. We've really embraced the camaraderie at I enjoy the diverse group of experienced riders, who know how to have some fun, but ride safely.
